Dear Crosswinds Family,
In order to be responsive rather than reactive to the current health crisis, we feel that it is prudent to temporarily refrain from on campus gatherings, including all Bible studies, Wednesday evening activities, and Sunday morning worship services. We will continue to reevaluate and provide more information as the situation unfolds. Beginning this Sunday, March 22nd, we will be broadcasting services on Facebook Live at 10am. The following Sunday, March 29th, we will be broadcasting services at 11am.
Regarding Homefront, we will continue as planned with work on site with the following modifications: Breakfast will be available for pick up outside of the mission on the west side of the building at 7am each morning. Lunch will be delivered to each job site. Dinners will also be available for pickup outside the mission throughout the week at 5pm. The one major change to Homefront is that we will not be having our church gathering on the church property on Sunday, March 29th. As stated above, this service will be broadcast on Facebook Live at 11am.
We would like to remind you that the best way to keep the virus at bay is to limit physical contact. During Homefront week, please remember that smiles, air high fives and “good jobs” are just as good as a handshake or a pat on the back.
Our staff will be working remotely during this time. Church offices will be closed. You can contact us by leaving a phone message at 575-397-7661 or online on our Facebook page (Crosswinds Community Church). We will be checking those messages daily at 9am.
Giving can be done as usual online at www.crosswindshobbs.com, on our church app, or you can give by mail to Crosswinds Community Church, P.O. Box 2485, Hobbs, NM 88241.
We have great faith that we are following the leadership of our federal and state government and honoring our God by being proactive and exercising precautions during this extraordinary time. We encourage you to continue to pray for our community and our leaders, and to keep up with your individual and family devotion and study through our Acts guide. Also, look out for each other, keep each other in your prayers and be quick to lend a hand as you feel lead.
Love in Christ,
